With over 30 years of experience in management consulting, market research, and human capital leadership, Chona Sunico brings a global perspective and people-first mindset to SuperStaff’s executive team. As People and Culture Director, she has led key initiatives that helped globalize talent acquisition, automate performance and learning systems, and establish job and pay structures aligned with market competitiveness. These achievements, made possible through cross-departmental collaboration, contributed to stronger employee engagement across markets. She has also strengthened the company’s leadership bench by bringing in new directors across key functions, further reinforcing SuperStaff’s strategic capabilities.
Chona’s career has always centered on transformation. She spent 13 years as a Management Consultant and Business Unit Leader, leading projects that improved both internal performance and client delivery. Before joining SuperStaff, she served as Regional CHRO for a global market research firm, managing HR across 36 countries while helping shape global workforce strategy as part of the company’s Global HR Leadership Committee.
Her approach to leadership is grounded in empathy, intentionality, and long-term impact. One of her guiding beliefs is a Chinese proverb: “If you want one year of prosperity, grow grain. If you want ten years of prosperity, grow trees. If you want 100 years of prosperity, grow people.” Whether mentoring future leaders or building systems for growth, Chona remains focused on helping people and the organization thrive.
